| This position is a new role designed specifically to manage the implementation of an enhanced Financial Control infrastructure within the Division to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley 404(a) ("SOX") requirements.
The role holder will be expected to work on projects, accounting and non-accounting, impacting the Financial Reporting group. The successful applicant will be expected to develop and perform the role for approximately 2 years after which time advancement within the group or, where appropriate, movement to other opportunities within the organisation will be supported. You will be a qualified accountant, either professionally or by experience and will have a vast understanding of the implications of Sarbanes-Oxley control requirements. You will have good interpersonal skills and be able to work under pressure. Previous experience in Internal Audit or Compliance may be an advantage. Banking experience will be useful but is not a necessity. |
