Financial Services Adjudicator - LONDON
Our client is a renowned complaints specialist handling complex cases across a varied financial services product range. As a result of a substantial increase in case volumes, there is an urgent need for talented financial services professionals to join their business review division as adjudicators. You will be responsible for assessing and resolving cases in a just and fair manner within the framework of established rules and guidance, whilst at the same time actively challenging old outdated processes. You will be actively managing a challenging personal caseload and aiming to resolve and conclude cases at the earliest opportunity using the most appropriate criteria and evidence at your disposal. Developing a detailed understanding of product types and knowledge, you will be able to assist non-specialist staff on technical issues. As you will be dealing with a variety of policy providers and policyholders, excellent communication skills are key. You should be able to prioritise effectively and have the ability to assimilate large volumes of documentation and evidence, prior to making balanced decisions. Of course, you will also have a positive proactive attitude, and enjoy working in a team based environment. As regards eligibility, you will have experience within the financial services arena, ideally but not essentially within compliant handling.FPC qualification in full or part will be a distinct advantage. Applicants from a legal background and/or holding a Law Degree may also be considered.
