As Messenger you will work for the General Office Manager and assist/work alongside the other members of the department. You may be required to assist partners and staff throughout the UK offices and may have contact with partners and some staff throughout the international firm. Main duties will include assisting the General Office Manager with the running of the internal messenger service and distribution of incoming and outgoing post. Assisting with the running of the internal messenger service. Assisting with the incoming and outgoing post. Assisting with the distribution of incoming faxes. Assisting the General Office Manager with document exchange. Assisting with incoming supplies. Assisting with the setting up of Snow Hill Training room and conference rooms as requested. Assisting the Print Department with distribution of materials as and when needed. Assisting with any daily banking as and when required. Assisting in local by hand deliveries and collections. Assisting with the files and bundles procedures. Responsible for Reception Cover when required. Have an understanding of security and mail room procedures; Know when to use discretion and confidentiality; Able to use own initiative; Good team player; Good standard of English; Effective written and verbal communication skills; Able to manage own time and workload; Knowledge of MS Office skills i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook. | |
