| Our client is a national volunteering development agency for England, committed to supporting, enabling and celebrating volunteering in all its diversity. Based at their head office in North London, they are looking to employ an experienced QA Officer.
The Volunteer Centre Quality Accreditation Officer is an existing post within the Strategic Development Team. The Team consists of the Head of Infrastructure Development, and is line managed by the VCQA Manager. The team sits within the Development & Innovation Directorate. The main purpose of the role is to support the Volunteer Centre Quality Accreditation (VCQA) scheme and ensure that all aspects of the marketing fulfillment and administration are carried out to the highest possible standards e.g. the Volunteer Centre Brand. Your responsibilities will include and not limited to: • Maintain and support the development of the VCQA web pages. • Maintain and support the development and delivery of electronic training tools. • Undertake various administrative duties relating to Assessment process, Moderation Process, Portfolio Submissions and Training Workshops • Be proactive in keeping up to date with developments affecting your work and maintain and improve personal competence through continuous professional development. • Take direction on projects and priorities from your line manager, which may vary from time to time. • Work to administration and communication protocols efficiently to ensure that organisational systems and procedures are implemented. The successful candidate will have good planning and organising skills with the ability to demonstrate the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances. You'll be a competent user of Word, Excel and be able to communicate at all levels. Finally, you'll have knowledge and understanding of volunteering and volunteer centres. | |
