Energy Market Analyst

An exciting opportunity for an Energy Market Analyst to join one of Europe's leading Energy Trading Companies based in Central London.

The Energy Market Analyst for oil will play a vital role providing a comprehensive view on oil fundamentals and commenting on the implications of important issues such as Analyzing oil/market developments.
The Analyst is expected to enhance the analytical coverage of oil markets for the benefit of the trading desks.

Ideal Candidate:
*Knowledge of the energy and in particular the oil industry in the context of commodities.
*Experience gained from an energy consultancy firm, an energy company or and investment bank
*Proficiency in Excel and an understanding of relational database concepts
*Strong analytical skills demonstrated through career history to date
*Good attention to detail
*The ability to work independently as well as excellent team working capability and interpersonal communication skills
*An education to a minimum of degree level
