IT Sales Director

Our client, a renowned name in the financial services industry, is seeking an IT Director or strong Senior Consultant for their IT team. The right person will have a client facing role in both sales and delivery capacity. The individual will be responsible for managing engagements within the insurance sector that have significant technology implications. The individual will develop client relationships, identify and sell opportunities.

Requirements:
Strong knowledge of the insurance sectors key opportunities and challenges and the role of IT to address them
Broad understanding of key insurance/FS industry application and software systems.
Experience in managing and working in a multi-disciplined team environment (eg IT, Process, Change) to develop an integrated business solution
Prior consulting experience

Responsibilities:
Proven ability to lead multiple client development efforts, design and sell engagements and manage client relations in a consulting environment
Proven ability to successfully manage (day-to-day) basis complex projects (ie. delivered on time/budget, meeting or exceeding client expectations)
Ability to drive the selling process as a subject matter expert and develop detailed project scope/deliverable design and workplans
