Application Developer Lead, EDG E-Commerce E-Trading Project Manager -
Banking and Finance
Technical Project Manager responsible for EDG E-Commerce E-Trading Applications.  The platform provides JPM clients with indicative and tradable prices for complex derivatives on a number of venues including Bloomberg, Reuters, Websites and Exchanges.  Initially managing a team of 3 in London and  5 in India.
 
The Equity Derivatives E-Commerce technology team provides primary and secondary market making tools for structured products, flow derivatives and delta one instruments.  The applications include multi-product client order management workflow, automated quote response and secondary market making systems and marketing websites.  The secondary market making venues include exchanges, Bloomberg and our dedicated client websites.
 
Technical Project Manager for EDG E-Commerce E-Trading applications.  There are a number of initiatives including  migrating exchange links from GL to Fidessa, Installing local instances in regions.  Defining roadmap for next generation platform.  Increasing product and trading venue support as defined by business strategy. 

Essential experience in managing, designing and building high availability real-time e-commerce or trading application.  Knowledge of derivatives, ideally structured products.  Extensive experience of Java application frameworks such as Spring, Struts, Jetty, ORM, SQL, XML, Web servers, etc.  Desirable skills include Web development, real-time messaging such as Sonic MQ or RV, real-time market data services such as Reuters & Bloomberg, Sybase, Subversion, Ant, JMX, Velocity, XStream, Flash, Hibernate.
