Who we are looking for
PricewaterhouseCoopers' (PwC) Risk Assurance practice is looking to grow its SAP team. The SAP team require Senior Associates (a grade below Manager) to join an existing team of 40, specialising in delivering SAP security, risk and control solutions to a large national and international client base. The role is based in the London Top Tier (LTT) business unit which focuses primarily on PwC's FTSE100 clients, although the role requires flexibility to travel on international engagements.The role will be expected to support Risk Assurance teams working on a diverse range of projects from SAP system and control reviews, through to full scale security and control re-design and transformation projects. To perform this role successfully the key skills required from the candidate will be exceptional business consulting skills, problem solving skills, technical SAP security and controls knowledge and a good knowledge of SAP GRC technologies.
About the role
The PwC Risk Assurance division is the UK's leading risk and control solutions provider. The SAP team and the services they provide represent a strategic priority for PwC due to the increasing demand from organisations to optimise risk and control management through technology. The SAP team have been successful in winning a number of significant, large scale SAP risk and control transformation projects, supplementing an existing base of assurance and consulting engagements.The Senior Associate role is critical to the longer term success of the team as we continue to grow. The role will be positioned closely to lead Managers and Senior Managers on existing projects. The roles report ultimately in to the Director leading the SAP team, but day to day reporting will be to project Managers/Senior Managers.The role will primarily focus on:
- Delivering ERP security and controls reviews, feeding back findings to audit teams and client teams
- Delivering pre- and post- implementation reviews of ERP security and controls (both manual and configurable/automated controls)
- Helping clients design their SAP security and control environments during transformation
- Designing and implementing SAP GRC solutions, helping clients optimise control management
- Helping clients optimise their use of SAP functionality You will receive SAP training to enable you to perform the role and grow your skills and expertise. This training, combined with the coaching obtained while working on SAP engagements will give you an excellent understanding of business processes, control systems and supporting technology. Requirements

The following skills are required for this role:Essential skills:

- Strong business consulting skills, including client handling and communication skills, logical problem solving, facilitation and listening skills
- Overall understanding of ERP systems, specifically the structure and organisational design of SAP R3 and ECC6 environments
- Detailed knowledge of best practice business controls expected within core processes supported by SAP systems and modules (FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, AM, PM, WM) and/or
- Detailed knowledge of SAP security, including R3 authorisation concept and role design for core processes
- Experience of SAP GRC technology, including Access Controls (AC) version 5.0 and above and/or
- Process Controls (PC) version 3.0
Desirable skills:

- Applied knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley 404 legislation
- SAP new technology experience including CRM, SRM, APO, BI/BW systems
- Experience of SAP security and control implementations
- Project management methodology and associated tools such as Prince2 and Microsoft Project
