| This leading national charity that employs over *****staff and has over *****volunteers is seeking an assistant financial accountant to join their accounts department.
The role will comprise of preparing and processing all journal transactions for month/year end accounts, responsible for implementing the fixed asset register, carrying out monthly procedures for deprecation, additions and disposals, preparing vat returns and advise departments, update and monitor daily and weekly cashflows, liaising with external auditors and assisting in the preparation of statutory accounts. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years accounting experience, at least part-qualified, has experience of preparing of statutory financial accounts (beyond trial balance stage) and knowledge and understanding of electronic ledger systems. |
