| Working within a fast growing business to business publisher, Melcrum, with offices in Chicago and London, Hammersmith. We’re looking for a financial controller who can take charge of our financial reporting and provide managers with timely information. With the opportunity to develop into a management team position, this role provides lots of scope for someone wanting to make the next step in their career and take on more responsibility in a small business environment with 35 employees.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director and working closely with the management team, you will be a self-starter, able to manage your own workload. You’ll be efficient and deadline driven. Skills and experience required Part-qualified or Fully Qualified Sage Line 50 Have at least 5 years relevant experience in a similar role Knowledge of US business environment and US accounting desirable Duties Preparation of monthly management accounts Financial analysis of budget vs actuals Preparation of year end statutory accounts to trial balance Payroll using Sage payroll Preparation and submission of monthly VAT return Daily, Weekly, Monthly Sales Reporting Entering supplier invoices onto Sage Producing biweekly creditor list and paying overdue amounts Pay Full time or part-time/flexible hours considered Basic salary £28k-£32k plus performance related bonus up to £4k.
