My Client, a major Building supplies organisation seeks a bright, diligent and talented Cash Manager to cover a maternity leave for 6 months. This role exposes you at the front line of the Regional business. With $20 billion TO Per annum globally, and $4bn in sales regionally the task and responsibility to effectively manage the cash is a strategically and technically demanding one.
The Treasury function is at the forefront of many businesses current strategy. Credit, supply and working capital are becoming areas of increased priority, especially in industries which are capitally intensive. It is in this context that you will be expected to operate.
The scope of the role focuses around Cash Forecasting, Liability management, Optimising cash usage, supply of financing, leveraging payment terms, managing working capital, looking at FX hedging opportunities, translating cash into real information, Managing up to *****bank accounts, analysing and integrating that information into transparent management material and maintaining a business/commercial outlook.
You will have worked in treasury, been heavily exposed to cash management, be degree educated and have 6-7 years accounting experience. Strong systems skills are preferred: SAP and a treasury system ideal. Strong Excel is a must as you will be manipulating data to make it more tangible.
There is a chance this opportunity could turn into a permanent role. Due to the corporate origins of my client if you have Spanish you would put yourself into a favourable position to excel. You will be expected to monitor 2 indirect reports as well, so some supervisory exposure would be expected.
My client is looking to have the right candidate start at the beginning of April and we anticipate a two stage interview process. This is a Fixed Term Contract for 6 months.
