| Working for this leading recruitment agency based in Hammersmith they are seeking someone with a recruitment agency background to assist their clients in seeking employment. This is not a sales role so there will be no selling involved but using your skills as a resourcer to help unemployed people find work. To provide an efficient and professional job search service to clients. This will include all the administration and supervision of clients in their job seeking activities. There is a substantial IT assistance element to the role. Other duties include; Providing IT assistance, particularly helping clients create templates, formatting documents and desk top support.
Directing clients towards sources that may yield vacancies relevant to their jobsearch. Informing clients of any vacancies that may be relevant to them. Assisting clients in the preparation of their CV to a high standard. Assisting clients to complete application forms to a high standard. Assisting clients in the preparation of their covering letters to a high standard. Training clients to use the computer for job searching. Essential knowledge includes; Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package Key board skills of at least 40wpm Good working knowledge of collating and inputting data accurately Working knowledge of prioritizing own workload and that of others Ability to multi task and think flexibly about the needs of the clients Awareness of the job market in various sectors and where to source appropriate vacancies Clear understanding of the nature of application forms, competence frameworks and CV writing. |
