Our client is an international company in the digital and computer memory sector and winner of many prestigious Innovation awards. A leading name in the IT industry and with international offices, they need a talented IT Manager to provide an effective IT strategy for this fast growing electronics company. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced IT manager to take the company to the next level by providing technical and project leadership. As the IT Manager you will be given full responsibility for managing a small IT team supporting approx 70 users applying your proven track record of people management. Accountable for the overall IT strategy and hardware/software support; you will be experienced in understanding, analysing and documenting business processes to provide efficient IT solutions. You will also be responsible for the management of: Network LAN/WAN, Security, Voice, VoIP, DR and backups, desktop and remote user support, and product support. Essential to your success in this role you will have demonstrable experience of supporting, maintaining and expanding current systems. You will have experience proactively recommending and implementing new systems and procedures, and developing areas including: ERP, mail, web, intranet and reporting systems. Our client is looking for someone to show off their exceptional technical expertise and excellent management skills for this high profile role. You will be HNC or degree qualified in a relevant subject (or equivalent). With a proven track record of excellence, you will demonstrate solid experience in a similar role. Excellent project management skills are essential. It would be beneficial to our client if you were MSCE or similarly qualified. You will have a flawless analytical and articulate eye for detail with a solid interest in IT. With impeccable presentation skills you will be able to present ideas clearly and effectively. Taking a methodical approach to your work you will be organised and demonstrate a clear understanding of business processes, and the IT solutions required to satisfy them. It would be desirable to our client if you possessed skills in the following, however these are not essential: - Microsoft OS and Server OS, Office / Exchange - CRM, Active Directory - CISCO, TCP / IP - Exchange, SQL / SQL Server - Firewalls, Citrix Apply now for this unique and challenging opportunity to assist in the delivery and IT strategy for an international company.
