East London, E16 c£30,000 - £35,000 (negotiable) plus BMW company car An expert in systems and service integration needs an IT Server Support Engineer. Applicants will be experienced and competent IT Server Engineers or Hardware Engineers with relevant Microsoft or HP accreditation. You will need knowledge and experience of supporting servers and hardware. They’re not just looking for a techy - the role is customer-facing, so client liaison and good old fashioned customer service skills are essential! To be considered for the post, you will require the following key skills, knowledge and experience: - Microsoft or HP accredited server engineers - Microsoft Active Directory implementation and design - Exchange implementation, design and migration skills - Good all round Microsoft server product knowledge - Microsoft security knowledge - HP server/storage/data centre hardware experience - Good customer skills - Full valid driving licence - Ability to work under own initiative In addition to these key skills, the below attributes would be of significant benefit to your application: - Experience of creating desktop images - Understanding of server/vpn/remote access and security within an NHS environment - Altiris experience To apply for the role of IT Server Support Engineer, please simply send your CV and a covering letter via the button shown.
