Europe’s largest online restaurant booking service is looking to recruit an IT Support Analyst. Due to continued expansion and technical innovation, they are pleased to announce the creation of a new role within their IT department.

Reporting to the Head of IT, the new role of Support Analyst will manage the day-to-day needs of internal users (the marketing, restaurant relations, and customer services teams), end users, and partners. The main responsibilities of the role will include:

- Supporting marketing in current and upcoming campaigns
- Monitoring, reporting, analysis, and resolution of issues on all internal and external systems
- Responding to consumer queries and issues
- Providing 2nd line support to the Helpdesk

Suitable candidates for the role are likely to have commercial experience and be degree-educated (or equivalent). They will be passionate about food and dining out, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, keen to learn about the business, and be driven by delivering top-quality solutions with a plain-speaking approach.

Technically, the role demands that candidates have a working knowledge of T-SQL (functions, SPs, views, and triggers), XHTML, and one of the following programming languages: Coldfusion, classic ASP, or C# (framework 2 or above). The ideal candidate should also possess proficiency in SQL Server *****operations (e.g. backup/restore, monitoring, optimisation), CSS & Javascript, and a knowledge of general web standards and conventions. Favourable skills to have include Flash scripting and any systems administration experience (for example, general Windows Server skills, firewalls, automated software deployment).
