They are currently looking to recruit an IT Trainer / Software Trainer to join their team in Central London. Joining a team responsible for providing IT training and expert advice to computer users throughout the School, as an IT Trainer / Software Trainer you will provide IT training to the School’s community using a mixture of teaching methods, including face-to-face training and CBT. As part of the training team, you will create your own materials and contribute documentation to the Customer Services Knowledge Base - increasing the level of IT expertise across the School. This is a varied and challenging role, where as an IT Trainer / Software Trainer you will assist in the design and delivery of internal training courses for the School’s enterprise applications for end users and ISD support staff. You will help to develop support training documentation, identify user training needs and provide tailored courses, and conduct usability testing to assist developers in rolling out enhanced and new applications. This position will involve: - Maintenance of user account administration for key systems - Provision of 3rd line user support and online training for MS Office - Provision of training at the appropriate level and times for the student body - Promotion of good practice in web design and the management of websites To succeed as an IT Trainer / Software Trainer you will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and possess a training or IT background. A flexible and self-motivated individual, you will have knowledge of MS Office Professional and be able to grasp new technologies and translate them to users. The ideal candidate will have IT training experience with a good IT background, or experience of training users.
