| Project Manager - Enterprise Hosting Solutions
Central London E1 Up to £38,000 Our client is a subsidiary of the largest provider of telecommunications, Internet and mobile services in Japan and one of the world’s largest organisations. They now need a Project Manager to take responsibility for the roll out of small to medium Enterprise Hosting Solutions. This role has Customer input from the late pre-sales phase, throughout delivery and through until the customer is under support. The Project Manager will work closely with designated Technical Resources in order to finalise design and provide an accurate forecast of delivery to customers. As the Project Manager you will be ultimately responsible for the effective delivery of the solution and for the setting and maintaining of customers expectation, so that customers are happy with their deliverables and the Company is assured of contractual compliance. You may also be responsible for the management of internal projects, such as server migrations and data centre infrastructure expansion. The Project Manager will be responsible for the following: - On-time Delivery of Customer Solutions and internal projects - Effective Management of Team Resources, Sales team expectations, Customer expectations - Organised interaction with other Company employees and outsourced warm-hands personnel to maintain optimum working relations - Providing regular management reports as well as project update reports Forward thinking and with an excellent attention to detail, as the Project Manager you must possess the following: - Administration experience with document management - Experience in a customer service environment, both by telephone and face-to-face - Conceptual understanding of IT technology, networking and the Internet - Proven ability to meet high standards of written and oral communications with customers - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Relevant technology certification or university graduate, or equivalent (preferred) - Proven ability to work under pressure and with other people Ideally you will be degree qualified (or equivalent) or have relevant experience in the Web Hosting field. Preferably you will also have a Prince 2 qualification or demonstrable skills in formal project management.
