They are looking to recruit a UNIX Support Analyst. As a senior AIX specialist you are the final escalation point and technical authority for major client AIX infrastructure issues. Superior technical and analytical skills coupled with a talent for client communication and rapport building will give you the opportunity to expand your knowledge across a broad range of technical environments whilst enjoying a boost to your AIX troubleshooting skills, all while working within a highly motivated and vibrant team environment. To excel in this environment it is likely that you will have demonstrable experience in supporting high-availability mission critical or enterprise class AIX systems. Your skills and knowledge of IBM SAN Systems coupled your understanding of infrastructure technology (web/app servers, clustering etc) will make you a valuable addition to the team. Familiarity of Solaris and/or Linux and backup strategies (Netbackup) would be a plus but is not necessary as training will be provided for you!!
