They are currently recruiting for a Web Development Manager to ensure the consistent delivery of appropriate online development. This is a ‘hands on’ technical role, as well as leading a team of Developers the role holder must have up to date Java skills along with team and project management experience. The Web Development Manager will have responsibility of managing eChannel projects and developing solutions to drive forward strategy. They will Develop standards and processes for technical team, produce comprehensive documentation to support all projects and ensure the quality of technical work completed. The ideal candidate will have the following background and experience, - Knowledge of web development techniques and programming languages, e.g. Java-based technologies, .NET - Understanding of web and application servers, e.g. Apache, Jboss - Knowledge of Oracle, Open CMS and CVS - Experience and appreciation of user interface, usability and accessibility issues on the web - Background in Telecommunications and/or ISP industry - Technical team management experience and Project management - Proven ability to deliver a high standard of work to set timescales in a fast moving and rapidly changing environment. - Enthusiasm and passion for web technology To apply for this role, please simply send your CV and a covering letter via the button shown.
