Our client was formed in *****to fill what they felt was a void in the 'web design and eCommerce' industries. With so many agencies designing for designers and software companies building for engineers they felt that consumer needs were not being addressed. They are now looking to recruit a Web Project Manager / Web Producer.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to develop their career within a fast growing content management specialist based in South West London. They are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join their team designing, developing and implementing web-based software systems and bespoke business solutions based on their WORKSsitebuilder product.

As a Web Project Manager / Web Producer you will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from pre-brief stage, through requirements capture and development, and after the project goes live. As the primary point of contact for the client and as the hub within the project team you will need to know the answers to who, what, where, when, how and why on all aspects of each project you manage. It is your job to facilitate the group process necessary to develop, deliver and maintain high quality web sites for their clients.

You will need to identify, accurately document, communicate and continually assess and manage the requirements and scope of each project you handle. As Web Project Manager you will co-ordinate your project team of web designers, developers, business analysts and 3rd parties to develop a solution that meets the requirements of the client within the time and budget allocated. A solid knowledge of all aspects of web development (creative, web design, web development, technology, information architecture, usability, accessibility, user-orientated design) is essential. This role also involves taking an active part in the development and review of internal business processes and new initiatives.

Your key responsibilities will include working with multiple simultaneous clients through their project lifecycles capturing business requirements, accurately scoping projects, quoting, implementation and testing while maintaining a tight focus on scope and tracking change. You will be the primary point of contact for the client and will lead the internal project team. It will be up to you to communicate business requirements, manage risk and to ensure delivery deadlines and client expectations are met. You will be responsible for ensuring developers and designers are accurately reporting status and risk and relaying that information to the directors and to the client.

You will require the following key skills and abilities, alongside excellent time management and good analysis and evaluation skills:

* Project management:
- ability to manage a project team including designers, developers, business analysts and 3rd parties
- schedule, plan and manage project meetings
- set project objectives and success criteria and measure progress against these goals
- identify, prioritise and manage tasks

* Excellent communication skills:
- fluent English (spoken and written)
- ability to translate business requirements into accurate and usable technical specification
- experience of presenting to all levels of the business

* Knowledge & Experience:
- good knowledge of standard project management and web software development methodologies
- solid knowledge information architecture, navigation, user research and user interaction on projects with a budget of £20 to £120k

* Previous industry experience, ideally including:
- presales including estimating, proposal writing and presenting
- running projects of c. £50K with technical and creative components
- production experience in the role of designer or programmer

* Minimum qualifications:
- bachelor's degree (business degree preferable or equivalent)
- fluent in written and spoken English with excellent communication skills
