| Heathrow based company is looking for an IT Systems Support Engineer to perform general tasks to aid the on-going support of all IT systems in use throughout the organisation.
Duties include: Looking after and programming MS access databases Running reports Creating databases on MS access and turning them into applications Linking to MS Access to MS Excel Hardware and software support Business information and analysis Documentation of new processes and procedures Completion of daily, weekly and routine operational tasks Providing guidance and support to other members of the IT team as and when necessary Candidates should have the following systems experience: High level of Microsoft Access (at least 1 year) within a current or previous role - (essential) Some UNIX knowledge although the company will be replacing Unix with SQL - (not essential) General PC & Microsoft applications support / experience Two years general relative IT experience The salary quoted is dependent on the level of experience of the successful applicant. Our client offers an excellent benefits package. First interviews will be held in Holborn. This job is based near Heathrow and candidates should be able to be able to commute easily to the Heathrow area. |
