IT - Help Desk and Tech Support

in London South West

A customer focussed individual, articulate and methodical, with very good interpersonal skills and experience of working in a support department dealing with the UK and overseas locations. Previous experience of maintaining Domino Servers/Windows Servers/Networks is essential.

The role will be varied and will include:

- Log and resolve high level technical support requests from UK and overseas locations on IBM Lotus Notes and Domino. 24 x 7 availability for international support requests.
- Ensuring all UK and international support calls are logged and prioritised, and to assign calls appropriately.
- Maintain business critical Domino Servers/Windows Servers/Networks.
- Setting up and maintaining an asset management system for all hardware and software.
- Creating and maintaining the Company’s software licence register and reconcile the software audit data against the licence register.
- Creating and maintaining the software library.
- Build and provide support for new hardware to meet company needs (eg: Servers, PCs, Laptops, Printers and Fax machines).
- Providing hardware support on PCs, laptops, printers and fax machines.
- Reconfigure software and operating systems on both Windows and Macintosh machines.
- Providing administration for purchase orders, invoices and manage stock levels and re-ordering process for computer consumables.

The ideal candidate will have completed a degree level or equivalent education, and have a minimum of 5 years experience in a busy IT helpdesk providing first line support.
