Our client is a specialist supplier of IBM storage software and hardware. As a Premier IBM Business Partner they supply all of IBM's mid range server products including pSeries, xSeries and iSeries as well as IBM storage and IBM software. In addition their own products add value to TSM installations by simplifying the monitoring, operation and configuring of TSM servers and clients. Their Multi-Vendor Support offerings, give their customers flexibility of service for all their servers, networking, PCs, peripheral and systems software infrastructure.

They are now looking for a senior consultant to become an integral member of their team. Within the role you will:

- Provide pre and post sales support
- Provide on and off-site consultancy services including training
- Design, specify and check storage solutions encompassing server, storage and system software technologies
- Build and implement solutions to match customer requirements
- Assist in the identification of business opportunities within new and existing customers
- Innovate and develop product/service enhancements
- Be responsible for problem determination and support including rotational cover of 24x7 support helpdesk

Candidates will fit the following skills profile:

- Proven success in storage solutions design, configuration, installation and support
- Proven knowledge of storage product range
- Proven experience of Tivoli software (including TSM) installation and support on multi OS environments (including AIX, Windows and Linux)
- Excellent communication skills and experience in customer facing environments
- Confident and personable with good team working skills
- Flexible approach to business environments with a proactive attitude
- Knowledge of 5 or more of the following skills: Linux/AIX, Windows - Exchange/SQL/IIS, pSeries/xSeries/iSeries, TSM/Veritas, VMWare, GPFS, Loadleveller, SAN/SVC/TPC, NAS, HACMP/Clustering/LPAR, IBM Director, Internet security, Oracle, Cisco
