North London Circa £65,000 + Excellent Benefits Our client is an international fashion company with headquarters in the UK with a growing e-commerce solution. This growth has created the need for an experienced Software Development Programme Manager. The Software Development Programme Manager will have overall responsibility for the control of the E-Commerce programme. They will lead site development, ensuring the ongoing health of the programme management mechanisms, whilst monitoring and providing support. The Software Development Programme Manager will: - plan the programme and monitor its overall progress - be responsible for the Quality Assurance and overall integrity of the Programme - manage both the dependencies and the interfaces between projects - facilitate the appointment of individuals to the Project management teams - manage the Programme budget - manage third party contributions to the Programme - ensure effective communication with stakeholders - report progress at regular intervals to the programme sponsors - manage the knowledge transfer within the programme Essential to your success as the Software Development Programme Manager you will have extensive relevant experience in project/program management, software development or a related function. You will have a solid e-commerce understanding and experience of working within an e-commerce environment, with your experience preferably gained within wholesale, retail, fashion or a brands environment. You will possess the following skills and experience: - project management tools/techniques - hands-on experience with the day-to-day management of multiple software development projects and frequent product releases - relationship management at a senior level across all areas of a business - previous development management experience and expertise ensuring understanding of the processes, key milestones and timelines developments You will have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across various departments and varying levels of management. With your strong analytical and problem solving skills, you will be experienced in applying these to resolve business and technical issues. You will have the proven ability to identify potential roadblocks in advance, taking appropriate action to plan accordingly. With the ability to produce clear, concise executive-level communication; you will thrive in a fast paced environment, able to manage and plan multiple projects/priorities simultaneously. With your drive to follow projects through to completion you will have good negotiating skills, with the proven ability to challenge ideas and proposals at a senior level in a tactful and effective manner.
