| Global Investment Managers have a position for a Portfolio Analyst with at least 2 years experience within their Performance and Portfolio Analysis Team. ***** They are one of the world's leading financial management and advisory companies, the company is one of the world's largest managers of financial assets. Approximately £300 Billion as of last year. Key Responsibilities Performing various quantitative analysis related to performance attribution, risk and portfolio analytics. Should possess working knowledge of risk and attribution methodology, familiarity with fixed-income investment would be advantageous. Prepare reports from various risk and attribution systems and provide advice to users of these reports. Some programming knowledge would be highly beneficial as they will be expected to write macros and other programs to help automate manual tasks. Skills / Qualifications Bachelor's degree, preferably in a quantitative discipline. Should be able to understand statistical calculations and have a good understanding of financial instruments and markets, in particular it would be advantageous to have a background in Fixed Income. PC literate, usual Microsoft suite of products is essential. In particular, it is required to have an excellent knowledge of Excel and a good understanding of VBA. It is also beneficial to have a good understanding of database functionality. |
