| This is a perm role - however our client would like to do a three month contract before offering the permanent role.
Salary band £26,000 -£30,000 ESSENTIAL BEFORE APPLYING - 5 years PA experience. Strong Word, Excel, Powerpoint - Fast typing. Organise meetings/conferences/ functions (internal and external) and book meeting rooms, equipment and catering for these as required. Arranging and booking travel, accommodation and compiling itineraries (40%) Other administrative tasks as required by and on behalf of your partners or department client service staff including preparing and submitting expense claims, inputting timesheets, organising conference calls, carrying out research for projects, photocopying, and liasing with document production (20%) Provide an accurate and prompt audio and copy typing service, ensuring that documents are typed up accurately and to deadlines. This will include typing reports, correspondence, minutes, file notes, faxes as well as PowerPoint graphics and Excel spreadsheets (15%) Answer both internal and external calls promptly and politely in accordance with policy ensuring that accurate and detailed messages are taken and distributed and any queries dealt with professionally and effectively (15%) Sort, distribute and prioritise both internal and external post, faxes and e-mails and deal with them as appropriate. Draft replies to incoming correspondence on behalf of the partners (5%) Maintain effective client and internal filing and information systems (5%) In the absence of the other secretaries you are expected to cover their roles Any other ad-hoc duties as directed The Individual You will need the following qualifications, skills and experience: At least 5 year's previous secretarial experience working at a senior level 5 GCSE's or equivalent at grades A-C (including English) Accurate audio/copy touch typing skills at 50-60wpm Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook and Word Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Reliable and flexible (there will be some need for occasional overtime) Conscientious and committed Enthusiastic and motivate Salary band £26,000-30,000 |
