Secretarial - PA Secretary

in London Westminster

An exciting opportunity has opened up at a government department for a PA to join one of their busy Senior Management teams. The candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support for the department’s committees.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Handling dossiers including quality checking and logging relevant details.
• Setting agendas for committee meetings, collating papers and feedback from previous meetings.
• Attending meetings and taking minutes. Typing minutes and submitting them for approval.
• Drafting feedback letters, articles and reports.
• Providing and entering information on the database concerning appraisals, development plans and feedback.
• Providing analysis of statistical data.

We are looking for an highly organised, professional individual who has advanced interpersonal and communication skills. The successful candidate must be able to prioritise workloads, have excellent telephone and written skills, be able to work to tight deadlines and pay attention to detail. As this is a stand alone role, the successful person will be very self motivated and pro-active
An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint is essential. Previous experience in writing reports and analysing statistical is also essential.
