| Working for this leading firm of Chartered Accountants they are seeking an A level trainee who has achieved A level results at at least C and above in three subjects. There would be a chance for the right person to do the professional tax exams in the future. This role is to provide administrative support to the Tax Team as well as dealing with ad hoc queries as and when they are raised.
2 KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES an• Ad Hoc Work As a member of the tax department you will be required to assist the team with a variety of tasks. Key responsibilities an– Ad hoc work an• Producing / updating excel spreadsheets e.g. allocations list an• Updating SAGE taxation re: Inland Revenue Office changes an• Filing an– arranging for new files to be set up, old files to be retrieved from storage and client documents to be added to the relevant files an• Recurring Weekly Duties Key responsibilities an– Weekly duties an• Distribute SAGE tax admin reports to all qualified / trainee tax staff an• Distribute (from Peoplesoft financials) invoices rendered and cash collection reports to all partners an• Recurring Monthly Duties Key responsibilities an– Monthly duties an• Distribute (from the performance centre) both Project / Relationship partner WIP summary and Debt reports to all partners an• Distribute Project Managers WIP summary reports to all AJP managers 3 Technical Skills an• Good PC skills an• Good telephone manner 4 Personal skills an• Good communication skills an• Multi-tasking an• Self starter an• Can work to deadlines and under pressure an• Energetic and enthusiastic an• Resourceful an• Committed 5 Experience/Qualifications an• A Level grades, C and above an• GCSE maths grade C and above an• Microsoft qualifications an advantage an• Professional practices /Financial experience or similar an advantage PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE A GRADUATE OR DO NOT HAVE THE REQUIRED THREE A LEVELS AT C+ GRADES Contact ****.co.uk |
