| Working for a major blue chip plc, in their finance team, covering an initial one years contract, this role is working with the Investment arm, dealing with various accounting functions.
The company seek a minimum 3 years experience in similar role, cash book and processing experience essential, good all round experience in working in a finance function, bank reconciliations Excel, standard database packages and Word, ability to work accurately and to deadlines under supervision, flexible, well organised person with good interpersonal skills, AAT qualification preferred. Duties will include Investment accounting, liaison with investment management company and brokers required, setting up of trades obtaining authorisation, processing of invoices and vendor payments and liaising with vendors as required, processing of cash entries for the branch, ensuring all items are correctly posted by liaising with the Accounting Services team., managing the daily cash position of the branch, ensuring there is sufficient funds to make payments, placing excess funds on deposit and transferring funds for longer term investment. |
