| Working for this leading Recruitment firm based in the City they are seeking an experience Accounts Payable person with Great Plains experience. Please do not apply if you do not have this as you application will not be considered.
Duties include Accounts Payable - Coding Invoices (volumes *****- *****per month) - Entering Invoices on Great Plains - Ensure timely collection of PO for Client discretionary spend - Supplier accounts eg: Operations and keying into Great Plains - Ensure timely collection of PO for all Fixed assets from IT and Facilities and keying into Great Plains - Invoice matching Client Supplier invoices and FA - to Pos Held in System. - Ensure all Invoices received from Options suppliers are approved by Manager and payment is made within agreed timeframe. - Mid month and Month end payment run - Payment run by Bacs and Pre-printed cheques - Automated through Greatplains. - Daily BACS payment runs - (volumes 10-15 transactions per day likely to increase to high volume batch payments) - Prepare Weekly Creditor report every Monday. Operations AP - Enter reconciled Imprest Bank rec for cheque account to Great plains - Enter reconciled Pettycash rec to Great plains - Process Finance requests through CHAPs on a daily basis Bank reconciliation - Reconcille Bank every Monday - Produce Bank rec for month end accounts. Suppliers - Complete credit applications for supplier accounts. - Answer and resolve all supplier queries in a timely manner Month End - Assist Financial Accountant as and when required. Filing - Ensure all paperwork is complete and filled away . 4. Relationship Building Name the regular contacts and relationships this position will develop which have impact on the performance of this position Relationship External/Internal • Operations Manager Internal • Administrators • Advisors • Suppliers • Lloyds Bank • Clydesdale Bank Internal Internal KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE What specific knowledge/experience/qualifications are required for this role KNOWLEDGE (include technical knowledge): • Essential Microsoft Great Plains Software (v or above) Microsoft Excel Microsoft Word Microsoft Outlook • Desirable - EXPERIENCE (include managerial experience and/or human relations experience): • Working as part of a Finance Team of 3-4 team members • Essential - Accounts Payable for high volume payments team QUALIFICATIONS: • Diploma level equivalent in Accounting • GCSC Maths and English 6.
