| This is a successful entertainment business. The MD is looking for a good bookkeeper / accountant with business acumen, good people skills and good organisational ability. You will take over the accounts for a group of businesses. These include nightclubs, event management and catering. With the help of an assistant you will be responsible for the whole process from weekly cash reconciliation; accounts payable, sales mix analysis, monthly management accounts, VAT returns through to year end financial accounts. This business is thriving but a good accounts person is needed who has the ability to reorganised a somewhat old fashioned system. In the future you will be recruiting new staff, bringing the currently outsourced payroll back in house, improve the financial reporting and preparing future budgets and forecasts.
