Central London EC2 c£50,000 Neg + Excellent Benefits Our client is an ambitious and growing mid-tier, City based firm of Chartered Accountants. They are now looking for a Compliance Officer to join their Corporate Recovery team. As the Compliance Officer you will report directly to the Partners and will be responsible for ensuring that the London team is compliant with all current regulations and legislation. This role is likely to develop in the medium term to include the management and development of the IPS system, updating the manuals and checklists, training the team on changes to insolvency law, preparing for JIMU visits and carrying out quality control reviews. As the Compliance Officer you will be an insolvency professional with insolvency experience gained within a chartered accountancy firm. You may be ACA or ACCA qualified, JIEB part or fully qualified, or qualified by experience. As the Compliance Officer you will be able to demonstrate the following: - Experience covering a range of cases including personal and corporate - Exposure to liquidations, bankruptcies, administrations and receiverships - You will be a confident, proactive individual, happy to give presentations to the group and to work with the Partners to develop the future direction of this new role. This position would suit an applicant currently at an assistant manager level who is looking for that next step in their career, up to a management level position.
