| Liverpool St based Broking company have a Credit Controller's position. It is essential you have at least 12 months experience within another financial services organisation.
Recording cash receipts daily, on collection sheets and establish whether the income needs posting via the sales ledger or the general ledger by reference to remittance advices provided by the debtors. Post all sales income to the sales ledger via the computerised financial accounting package. Produce journals, posting non-debtor income to financial codes Reconciling the bank debtor income, to ensure that the cash posted reflects cash received. Resolving complex invoice queries on a regular basis. Maintaining Deposit account spreadsheets on a daily basis, ensuring that the collection sheets balance to the monthly cashbook figures. Carrying out credit control procedures for all health bodies using both month-end aged debt analysis reports and ad-hoc reports produced during the month. Regular contact with debtors through various means of communication including frequent use of the telephone, letters and e-mail. Producing and despatching monthly statements for all debtors. Producing Excel spreadsheets Summarising useful and helpful information for monthly cash flow meetings, showing complex calculations to identify under and over payments. Providing spreadsheets to assist the commissioning manager and income accountant in reconciling the yearly contracts to payments received. Making refunds in cases of over payment and actively pursue under payments, detailing in the appropriate file the contact name, date and agreed course of action to recover the debt. |
