| International Derivatives Broking Organisation have a position for an experienced Financial Accountant salary circa £75, *****Bonus.
The European Head Financial Accountant reports to the Financial Controller who reports to the Finance Director –Europe. You will have responsibility for providing Statutory, Fiscal and Regulatory information on a timely and accurate basis. It is likely that the ideal candidate will be Qualified Accountant with at least 3/4 years PQE with strong technical ability and good knowledge of direct and indirect taxation. In general we are looking for: Someone who has the ability to grow the financial accounts department and it responsibilities, in line with the growth of the business.. An individual who can cope with a changing environment and who thrives in an environment with a loosely defined structure. Someone who can focus on the detail whilst understanding the greater needs of the department. ***** Key skills: Skills/Experience IT Literate Oracle Financials desirable but not essential Excel Skills Knowledge of Financial Institutions Knowledge of the FSA financial rules Broking/Financial Services industry experience a distinct advantage Good knowledge of UK GAAP and exposure to US GAAP Knowledge of UK Corporations Tax & VAT |
