JUNIOR ADMINISTRATOR (Investments) *****

Reporting To: SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Job Purpose:

To provide general administrative support to the fund accounting team and assist in the printing of accounts.

Key Accountabilities
Key Elements/Tasks and % of time

1.Development and Maintenance of positive working relationships *****

Create and maintain positive working *****relationships with key contacts :fund accounting team. *****
Create and maintain effective working
relationships within SWUTM , printers, auditors.
Assist colleagues on request.

Preparation and presentation of *****information

Prepare standard trustee information pack at interim and final accounting dates.

Proof reading of Annual/Interim *****Reports and Accounts prior to printing
Circulating proofs of accounts and making corrections to Excel file
Organise printing of in-house funds

Establishment and maintenance of Records

Printing reports from system and preparing interim and final accounting files in accordance with standard index.

Preparation of standard schedules eg portfolio statements, material purchases and sales schedules, income and expense schedules, performance tables. Process involves inputting data from in-house system onto Excel, sorting, sub-totalling and formatting data using basic formulae.

Administrative support

Providing general office administrative support to team eg photocopying, facsimilies, archiving, filing, letter writing. 15%

Systems maintenance

Formatting and maintaining Excel and Word template workbooks Combining Excel and Word files into PDF
Creating and maintaining electronic timetable of key accounting dates.

1. Confident in use of IT. Knowledge of Excel and Word to intermediate standard


2. Accuracy and ability to produce schedules in a timely manner

Will be fully trained in all aspects of the role providing reliable and accurate administrative support to fund accounting team.

Scope to achieve IAQ qualification and commence training in basic accounting functions.
