Management Accountant

in London City

Role working for sociable insurance company walking distance from Liverpool Street station.

Company seeks candidate to maintain accurate profit and loss and balance sheet accounts to report to management of the final results.

Duties:
- assist in timely preparation of monthly management statistics and reports

- account for accruals/prepayments and depreciation

- maintain fixed asset register and values to date

- maintain balance sheets and undertake regular reconciliations

- manage treasury function and investment income and maintain detailed schedules

- prepare ad hoc reports as required by management

- supervise the cashier, payroll and bought ledger functions as required (3 staff)

- prepare P11D returns and maintain necessary information

- assist in collection/collation of budget statistics

- assist at audit time and prepare schedules required

- statutory Lloyd's returns

Insurance background preferred and previous payroll and bankline experience.
