Our client has established a strong market presence as an integrated services provider of computer networks, telephone systems, Internet access and telecommunications carrier services to SMEs within the M25. They now need an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team.

As a Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be involved in the following:

- Invoice coding & inputting
- Invoice Authorisation
- Raising payments
- Completing PL month end
- Cash Flow Forecasts
- WIP reports & commission payments
- Petty Cash
- Month end reconciliations

To succeed as the Purchase Ledger Clerk you will have previous purchase ledger experience gained from working within an accounts department for an SME. Educated to at least A level standard (or equivalent) you will possess excellent interpersonal skills and a good telephone manner.

You will be comfortable dealing with people of all levels, internally as well as externally. A fast and accurate typist, you will also possess highly developed data entry and typing skills and excellent attention to detail.

As the Purchase Ledger Clerk you will have a strong level of computer literacy, with sound knowledge of Word and Excel. Knowledge of the Opera accounting package would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Proactive, you will be able to think on your feet and be able to manage your own workload/deadlines and work without supervision. Highly organised and motivated, you will also need excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
