| Looking for something a bit more… taxing?
Trainee Taxation Editor wanted to work within small team for a leading supplier of financial information. Based in the heart of London’s financial district, the team are responsible for producing printed and electronic services to the financial services sector, providing information on stock exchange listed securities and funds. As Trainee Taxation Editor your role will be to analyse press releases and documents from a number of sources and glean information to populate the databases. The services are produced on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis to tax professionals so it is imperative that you work to a high degree of accuracy and timeliness. In addition, you will need to have superb telephone skills, able to answer queries, deal with clients and conduct research. YOU: Educated to a high general standard with good grades in both English and Maths, you already have a firm interest in financial and business matters and are looking for the right opportunity to enter into the business world and progress. Willing and flexible in approach you don’t mind helping out where needed, taking the more mundane tasks and dealing with them to the same high standards regardless. You are prepared to do the necessary ground work to get yourself a career - you won’t spring up the ladder in 6 months but there will be a review and there is a future!
