Central London WC1 £35,000 Our client is a highly influential, professional body for doctors working to protect, support and represent over 138,000 members from all branches of the profession. They are now looking to appoint an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team in Central London. Reporting to the Management Accountant, as the Assistant Management Accountant you will be responsible for the following: - Preparing the monthly management accounts, re-forecasting and annual budgeting - Maintaining fixed assets register and periodically reconciling to nominal ledger - Monitoring control accounts and reconciling where necessary, (e.g. sales ledger) - Preparing quarterly management accounts and annual statutory accounts To succeed in this position you will have previous accountancy experience and you will be part-qualified in ACA, ACCA or CIMA. You will be proficient in Excel, and have the ability to produce or tailor spreadsheets to analyse, summarise or calculate figures. With your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as the Assistant Management Accountant you should also have the flexibility and ability to manage and prioritise many conflicting demands.
