| Established, independent insurance company based in the heart of London’s financial district is looking to recruit a competent and experienced Credit Controller.
Job Summary: Reporting to the Financial Director, you will be responsible for monitoring “delinquent” accounts, interpreting statistical and accounting information and preparing monthly financial and administrative reports. You will assist in maintaining the company's system of accounts and records on client transactions, liabilities and assets, updating the client database for new clients and alterations as well as providing technical assistance and guidance to clerical and insurance personnel by explaining the work of the credit control function. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Having at least three years previous experience in a similar role you will be a competent bookkeeper for insurance ledgers with good knowledge of insurance broking concepts, techniques, and principles. Proficient across the MS Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook), you are used to using computerised systems to handle large amounts of data with speed and accuracy. You have good verbal and written communication skills and a confident, persuasive telephone manner, to obtain and provide information between clients and colleagues professionally and with clarity.
