| Before applying - Credit Control / Revenue Control within a legal or 'partnership' environment and solid work history ESSENTIAL.
Management of 'lock up' for all London based fee earners, expected to be carried out through: Provision of information Regular face to face meetings with partners, directors and staff Preparation of billing and cash targets by fee earner Follow up on actions agreed with fee earners Assistance with detailed queries Full liaison with credit control and billing functions based in Glasgow Note: owing to the small size of the finance function in London, the successful candidate will be expected to undertake other duties from time to time, for example assistance with cashiering and cash room management at peak periods, provision of information to staff or any other tasks as directed by the Director of Finance. Reporting to the Revenue Control Manager in respect of all revenue control activity, and to Director of Finance in general.. Experience Lock up control in a professional partnership environment Experience of Elite and of the Solicitors Accounts Rules would be advantageous but is not essential since training will be offered Qualities Self confident and articulate to deal with range of personalities and with senior fee earners Tenacious and persistent Numerate with attention to detail Organised and self starting |
