For this role we will only consider candidates with Maths GCSE at Grade B. It is essential that you have 1 years + experience as a finance clerk / accounts asst. This role will in the long term offer AAT or CIMA study. SORRY; We are not looking for Business Grads or Accountants. Main Responsibilities: Timesheet Processing check and input timesheets for all members of the group twice a month; chase up late/missing timesheets; ensure overtime has appropriate authorisation. Processing of Expense Claims input expense claims weekly to meet cash reimbursement run dates; check authorisation and validity of supporting vouchers; review vouchers for appropriate coding and calculation; Sales Ledger / Credit Control deal with queries on raising invoices and other work in progress matters; assist credit controller to resolve internal billing matters; check and process credit notes; ensure a central file of invoices is kept up to date for HMC&E purposes. Client Data maintain client file: create new client numbers for existing or new clients and ensure client data is kept up to date thereafter; provide assistance on completing relevant forms and appropriate authorisation; deal with queries and produce reports as required. General distribute output on a timely basis; deal with one-off projects / queries on an ad-hoc basis. Personal Attributes/Skills: keyboard experience essential; able to work under pressure and to deadlines; able to organise and prioritise a busy workload; able to use own initiative; flexible; good communication skills candidates are expected to study for an appropriate qualification eg AAT, CIMA |
