Main Responsibilities: Assist with the processing of Inter Firm invoices. Assist with the reconciliation of pending invoices on a monthly basis. Recording and placing of unallocated cheques. Assist with the preparing and inputting of third parties invoices. Regularly reconcile schedules prepared from CODA to CABS (internal accounts computer systems) to eliminate duplication. Processing petty cash payments and receipts and ensuring items are entered into the Firm’s records on a regular basis. Reconciling petty cash account and preparing reconciliation statements monthly. Ordering, recording and disbursing of foreign currency required for travel. Processing currency account transactions and preparing reconciliation statements monthly. Requesting, printing and distribution of reports to finance managers. Monitoring and ordering of stationery stock items held within the department. Processing transactions relating to the Sports and Social budget. Maintaining a spreadsheet of all Sports and Social related transactions and ensuring the account is regularly reconciled. Assist with the filing and archiving of all related documents. Performing ad hoc duties when required. Person Specification Experience in an accounts department reconciling statements is ideal, though not essential. Good communication skills. Good computer skills and working knowledge of MS Word and Excel. A team player. Ability to work accurately and meet deadlines. Well organised and numerate. |
