We are looking for a real SAP expert to manage the payroll provision and provide HR support for one of the world’s oldest and largest global insurance companies. Working for the World Group Office based in London, you will act as the focal point for all payroll, admin and scheme queries, laising with, seeking advice from and referring others to appropriate units as required. As the resident SAP “authority” you will ensure that your team members are up to speed in SAP useage for their roles, identifying training requirements and providing suitable guidance, as well as ensuring the ongoing accuracy of the SAP data. In addition you will provide a basic HR service, assisting in the recruitment of employees by arranging internal/external advertising of vacancies and dealing with the administrative processes of acceptance/rejection. You must have a thorough knowledge of payroll practices and procedures, including manual payroll, along with an understanding of the legal aspects of HR practices and policies. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to manipulate data and provide appropriate management information. You will need strong communication and people skills, able to liase effectively with colleagues and external contacts alike. Your organisational skills will be first class enabling you to manage your workload and plan ahead. You will be studying towards your CIPD qualification and you will already be an established EXPERT in SAP.
