| JOB TITLE:Country Share Plan Operations Administrator
REPORTS TO:Payroll Manager DEPARTMENT:Payroll Department LOCATION:London, Denning House JOB PURPOSE To administer the Company's UK employee related share plans To champion UK specific administrative requirements within global employee related share plan development To ensure compliance with UK payroll processing and regulatory requirements. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES Coordination of Manual Enrolment for ESPP if locally required Coordination of withdrawals and refunds for ESPP Retain copies of original Agreements for legislation purposes Coordination of tax withholding based on corporate policy for each plan Reporting of withholding activity to employees and tax authorities for all schemes Reporting of plan data to local government authorities, where required Acts as "local administrative expert" for the functionality of ePortal and SSB's website for employees Maintains any external local administrative processes thay may be required (local savings vehicle, broker, etc). Acts as liaison with Corporate Share Plan Administration group. Answer questions and help people navigate to right sources for information Administration of Share Option - Grant Plan Training and Updating of Scheme Submission of weekly spreadsheet from Global Share Plan Team. This will include status change, withdrawals. Reconciliation of monthly and YTD deductions for each Share Plan Offer Reconciliation of calendar year deductions to ensure $ *****threshold is not exceeded. Reimbursement of over- deductions with regard $ *****threshold Reimbursement of deductions when employee withdraws during offering period, including leavers. Liaising with Global Share Plan Team on all payroll matters. Handling of tax liability on gains at end of each offer period One offer period closes in March annually which will necessitate additional payroll run to collect tax within 30-day period and additional payment to Inland Revenue. Collection of taxes and follow up calls to ensure monies are received before payment date to Inland Revenue Preparation of Procedure Manual for Processing of ESPP deductions KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS NEEDED/TO BE DEVELOPED Senior level payroll experience Knowledge of payroll related tax and NIC legislation Administrative skills Ability to liaise with people at all levels, internal and external Teamworking skills Organisational skills |
