A firm of Chartered Accountants based in the City are looking for an experienced mature Payroll Administrator. This section currently provides a payroll service to 130+ clients, to whom they also provide a range of audit, accounting, taxation and other financial services. Key responsibilities will include: Providing a dedicated service to a number of clients, processing their payroll from start to finish, Liaising with the tax office and DHSS, Carrying out manual calculations, providing assistance with billing and dept collection, controlling Inland Revenue payments for all clients, Preparation and reconciliation of year end PAYE and NIC returns and providing help and support to the payroll team. You need to have 3-4 years solid payroll experience, excellent technical payroll knowledge, previous bureau experience is an advantage, gained foundation level of IPPM qualification and knowledge of PAYRITE payroll system is an advantage, ambitious and willingness to learn and advanced level of MS word and excel.
