You live in commuting distance of London You have a Law or Commerce degree You are interested in a career in TAX Interested in studying for UK tax qualifications Bright, conscientious and showing initiative Good written and spoken English Good communication skills Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Can demonstrate general IT literacy Well organised and methodical Tax Research Assistant General The Tax Technology Team (3t) have a vacancy for a Tax Research Assistant to assist in the update and maintenance of International Tax Rate Software. 3t is responsible for the production and maintenance of a suite of International Tax information products. The role of Tax Research Assistant will involve communicating frequently with our correspondents and offices world-wide gathering and verifying tax data for inclusion into the tax products. Other duties will include assisting in general administrative duties and providing some first line support for both international and national tax products supported by the group. The role will also provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to study for UK tax qualifications and develop their interests in IT and systems used within the Tax Practice. Main Responsibilities: Assisting in the update and maintenance of International Tax Rate software and data Communicating frequently with worldwide offices and correspondents to gather and verify tax data Collecting and collating international corporate and withholding tax data Additional Duties: Assisting the Support Team answering telephone calls and e-mails Assisting in the administration and support of UK tax software Sharing some of the group’s administrative duties Skills and Personal Attributes: |
