Leading Global Managment group require a skilled and experienced administrator.
High quality tax administrative assistant to work in the Private Client group. The main thrust of the team is to advise clients on a wide range of personal tax issues including advising on all aspects of their personal wealth and personal taxation including capital gains tax, inheritance tax, trust planning and asset structuring.

Preparation of client tax return files - completing a return preparation form for each client
Liaising with, sending and receiving files return information to/from the Processing Centre
Maintaining and updating Excel spreadsheet containing current client allocations, whereabouts of files and the stage of clients' tax returns for the year and list of key clients
Inputting similar information as above into TRAMS and taxpoint companion
Maintaining and updating Excel spreadsheet containing client fees and client contact details
Upkeeping the list of fees given to the Glasgow office
Mail merges
Preparing and monitoring the issue of quarterly/half yearly/final fees and covering letters to clients
Preparing standard tax return letters to go to clients and HMIT - letters can be downloaded from TRAMS and are also saved in standard letters directory
Administration and coordination of PASAS seminars and mailshots, maintaining the PASAS databases and updating PASAS e-mail directory.
Research of ad-hoc marketing initiatives and prospective clients - searching on Onesource and companies house and external websites
Greenbox administration
Administration of ongoing projects, e.g. prepare confidentiality letters for project passport
Sentinel/SEC checks as part of the new client set up procedure
Answering telephone enquiries for PCA department
Assisting other department secretaries as and when required
Experience and Qualifications
A minimum of 3 years' experience as a administration assistant or similar role.
5 GCSEs or equivalent at grades A-C including English and Maths
Advanced level in Microsoft Word and Excel
Intermediate level in Microsoft Powerpoint
