| Working for this leading Financial advisory group they are seeking someone with a minimum of 2 years office experience to join their Finance team on the database administration side. The role is to maintain database details including opening and closing clients, amending fee structures, maintaining staff codes and holiday records. To provide general assistance with other Finance department functions.
Key Accountabilities Key Elements/Tasks % of time 1. Client Records To open and close client codes on the groupan’s client database and to maintain client fee structures, address records and other data as required. 60% 2.Staff Records To open new staff codes and maintain staff holiday records, liaising closely with the Human Resources department. 15% 3. Billing To assist with the processing and input of fees at busy times of the month, and to assist with chasing outstanding timesheets. 20% 5. Archive Database To maintain the departmentan’s archive database and ensure all documents are archived in a timely fashion. 5% Decision Making Authority/Mandates/Constraints To identify and provide assistance with busy periods within different functions of the department. Prioritise own workload within agreed timescales Job Related Knowledge, Skills and Experience 1. Minimum 2 years experience in a busy office environment. 2. Thorough knowledge of Word and Excel Job Dimensions: Numerical measures reflecting size of job Financial (money related) Non-Financial Critical Competencies/Behaviours sought:- 1. Good communication skills, particularly telephone manner as there will be involvement with both partners and other staff. 2. Computer literate with good keyboard skills especially Word and Excel. 3. Teamwork - able to work as part of a team and provide support in all areas where necessary, in a busy office environment Other: Methodical and tidy worker -motivated by meeting deadlines when required. |
