Based in a well known building you will be receiving enquiries by email and telephone from office workers needing help with printers, scanners, MFDs and other reprographics equipment. It could be a requirement for new equipment or a repair or advice or a request to move the machine. You will be the first contact and you will give advice, maybe email a brochure on the possible equipment to meet their needs and the cost. Depending on what is needed you will organise for a more senior person to visit, or a technical person to do the repair. There will be a lot of liaison to get further information on what is required, or updating the person on the progress of their requirement. The job calls for someone with a bit of savvy, good client service skills but who can also be a bit tough if needed. Initial 3 month contract but may go permanent |
